Its another month. I have been here for half a year with many ups and downs, i have survived. The weather has been great these few days. the sun has shone itself as early as 6 in the morning. I have no trouble in getting up early, lol! and no more total darkness when waiting for the bus in the early morning. But we gets cold nights. I can feel the heat of the sunrays on my face, it makes me smiles. For some reason, I have stopped wearing my winter jacket.

So, today I have graduated from Palapeli (some kind of finnish language pre-school :D) with a treat that I bought a shoe for myself, wheee!

Last thursday, I enjoyed my time doing grocery shopping while he waited in the car. I found...

it costs about 36 euro for 1 packet

I have many things that I want to buy but I still dont know how to spend, lol

1. Red sneakers
2. sling bag
3. stationery set
4. Body Lotion
5. Body Shower Gel
6. Coelho - Brida
7. Farkut

Since I have a mixer, I was inspired to try some paste experiment on my own.

Chicken marinates :
- soy sauce
- corn starch / flour
- salt
- rosemary

paste :
- 1 red onion
- 1 tomato
- some ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- rosemary, good to use fresh rosemary
- salt
- sitruuna juice

stir fry the chicken with rosemary and then pour the paste in and let them fry a little bit more.
The paste would be better with some chili, then it could be a good hot and spicy dipping sauce, lol

I played badminton on wednesday after a looonnnggg time.

I went for karting on last thursday with my sis in law and her husband.

I got to go on to Finnish 1 for youth which will be starting end of this month.

Im a bit tired of finnish around me. i wanna talk to someone with my own accent or maybe someone who has been to msia.

since i have been here, i have been guessing and fill in the blank in a conversation most of the time to get the message across. Now, Im not only guessing in english, im starting to guess in finnish too, lol!

i helped 2 of my classmates to get their message across from polish-finnish to russian-english, lol!

some of my classmate feels delighted and wow when i told that i have a finn husband. perhaps they think that i might have good finnish skill because of that. the truth is that i workout my homework by myself. I will only ask him if Im not sure about something. dictionary helps a lot too, haha!

I can understand and read finnish more than I speak.

im a wannabe psychiatrist (i dont even know how to spell, lol) or counselor or ´absent-minded doctor´. you can come and tell me your problem. im willing to listen and help.

I want to buy new sneakers.....red!!!!

Minun Toivekoti

*pic taken from net

My Dream Home

My dream home in Finland would be a big single house at the hilltop, near to the lake and with a beautiful scenery of the lakes and hills. The house have 3 rooms, kitchen, living room, bathroom, playroom and terrance. There are many wood, spacious and brightly lit in the house because the house has a simple style of balinese and zen. The living room is warm and comfortable, one sofa, 4 small cushion pillows, a round table at the center, many terracotta decors and candles on the shelf and table. And then, many asian paintings on the wall. There is a big terrace in the house and many green plants. In the summer, I will relax at the terrace, sunbath and enjoy the beautiful landscape. In the autumn, I will watch the stars at the dark sky with candles and heater at the terrace.

Minun Koti

Minulla on vihreä omakotitalo. Minulla on valkoinen olohuone. Leivinuuni ja minun työpöytä ovat huoneen nurkassa. Iso mukava matto on lattialla.

My House

I have a green single house. My husband and I live in that house. It is an old house, about 60 years old. I have 3 rooms at downstairs and an attic at upstairs. My kitchen is small, dark blue and white wall, 2 big windows and stove oven. My bedroom has orange and blue wall that I dont like but the wood ceiling in the bedroom is still looking good. I have a white living room. The oven and my work desk are at the corner of the room. A big comfortable carpet on the floor. the plants are at the opposite of the room and my husband´s drum is closed to the oven. I dont have a bathroom in the house but an outdoor toilet out at the yard. The storage room and sauna are nearby the outdoor toilet. My yard is big and there are many plants growing such as apple trees, raspberry, redcurrant and blackcurrant.

In search of the perfect leader

A reader sends me a questionnaire in which he presents the profile of three world leaders who lived in the same period of history, and asks if it is possible to choose the best one using the following data:

Candidate A was associated with witchdoctors and often consulted astrologists. He had two mistresses. His wife was a Lesbian. He smoked a lot. He drank eight to ten martinis a day.

Candidate B never managed to hold down a job because of his arrogance. He slept the whole morning. He used opium at school, and was always considered a bad student. He drank a glass of brandy every morning.

Candidate C was decorated a hero. A vegetarian, he did not smoke. His discipline was exemplary. He occasionally drank a beer. He stayed with the same woman during his moments of glory and defeat.

And what was the answer?

A] Franklin Delano Roosevelt. B] Winston Churchill. C] Adolf Hitler.

So what then is leadership? The encyclopedia defines it as an individual’s capacity to motivate others to seek the same objective. The bookstores are full of texts on this theme, and the leaders are normally portrayed in brilliant colors, with enviable qualities and supreme ideals. The leader is to society as the “master” is to spirituality. This, however, is not absolutely true (in either case).

Our big problem, especially in a world that is growing more and more fundamentalist, is not allowing people in prominent positions to commit human mistakes. We are always in search of the perfect ruler. We are always looking for a pastor to guide and help us find our way. The truth is that the great revolutions and the progress made by humanity were brought about by people just like us – the only difference being that they had the courage to make a key decision at a crucial moment.

A long time ago, in my unconscious, I changed the word “leader” for the expression “warrior of light”. What is a warrior of light?

Warriors of light keep the spark in their eyes.

They are in the world, are part of other people’s lives, and began their journey without a rucksack and sandals. They are often cowards. They don’t always act right.

Warriors of light suffer over useless things, have some petty attitudes, and at times feel they are incapable of growing. They frequently believe they are unworthy of any blessing or miracle.

Warriors of light are not always sure what they are doing here. Often they stay up all night thinking that their lives have no meaning.

Every warrior of light has felt the fear of joining in battle. Every warrior of light has once lost faith in the future.

Every warrior of light has once trodden a path that was not his. Every warrior of light has once felt that he was not a warrior of light. Every warrior of light has once failed in his spiritual obligations.

That is what makes him a warrior of light; because he has been through all this and has not lost the hope of becoming better than he was.

That is why they are warriors of light. Because they make mistakes. Because they wonder. Because they look for a reason – and they will certainly find one.

We did sports today in the youth class. guys went for boxing and girls went for floorball. me and another girl were exposed to finnish popular sport, floorball by having training with polytechnic´s floorball club members.

Floorball, often referred to as floor hockey, is an indoor team sport, which was developed in the 1970s. It is a fast paced sport, with limited physical contact allowed. Floorball is most popular in areas where the sport has been around for and developed the longest, such as the Czech Republic, Finland, Sweden, and Switzerland. The game is played indoors on a gym floor, making it a year-round sport at the amateur and professional levels. There are several professional leagues, such as Finland's Salibandyliiga and Sweden's Svenska Superligan.

GRATITUDE is POWER, and here's why....

When you are thankful for what you have - for the friends
you have, and for the things you've got, you attract more good people and good things!

People who always complain about what they DON'T HAVE, stay stuck.
Complainers attract more things to complain about!

It is a law of life.

It's hard to explain, but you can observe it around you.
We get more of what we dwell upon.

That's why all the spiritual masters have taught the same lesson .....
'Start by being thankful. Be happy with what you have now,
and more will come your way.'

It's practical advice.

IN A NUTSHELL
Every time you say a silent 'thank you' you become more peaceful – and more power.
